Breathe Wellness is inspired by the Japanese concept of Shinrin-yoku which means “Forest Bathing”.
Research in Japan found that feelings of health & wellbeing increased from the simple act of immersing oneself in a forest of Pine trees, wandering amongst nature and allowing the sensory experience to wash over you. Studies found the reported benefits of lowered blood pressure, reduced stress levels, increased immunity and energy came not only from the stillness, but also from inhaling the essential oil vapours emitted by the Pine trees.
